Half the cast of Starrbooty is trans, he hired Candis Cayne in the earlier seasons of RPDR when NOBODY was speaking about trans rights or advocacy. Ru did lots of benefits for the community all her life... Ru's views on drag are old fashioned, but he's an old person. Most people lie, Ru just tells you honestly how he feels. I don't support his views, I just understand where he comes from. That sketch "woman or tranny" where they put photos of people and the contestants had to guess if they were "trannies" or cis women never had any trans person, all the "trannies" were cis gay dragqueens. People were offended by the use of the T word. And in all honesty, I think the problem is the people who hate the word tranny. Tranny is a p0rn nom. It's used by hookers and/or p0rn performers. Who are the people complaining about the T word? The trans that came out late in life, who lived a life of priviledge that the people who were pushed into the sex work life didn't. It's like they were saying "I am better than those trans that make a living as sex workers, don't call me tranny because I am not a hooker, I am better than they are" but these people who earn their livelyhood on the streets, people who are called tranny everyday of their lifes that battled so a priviledged white college professor can transition in his late 40's and be offended bu the the word tranny, because they think they are so much better than the girls gaining their money on the streets. A good example of this is Caitlyn Jenner. I remember watching her show and how conceited she was, she judged the girls who had to earn their livelyhood through prostitution. In my personal opinion sex workers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the priviledged people. Sorry about the rant. I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.
