In kpop, awards season is the worst. Stans are constantly fighting with each other and create conspiracies about how their favs are being sabotaged when they don’t win Recently I saw Dreamcatcher stans get upset about Itzy having their comeback the same day as DC. I sure hope they were joking about how Itzy’s company is trying to prevent DC’s career from thriving since they are from a smaller company. Same thing that Armys did with EXO and other “privileged” groups. I don’t pay attention to Western award seasons but I could imagine it’s something similar. Do stans of Western artists start and trend hashtags that demand big corporations to apologize to their favs these kids need to start school again lol Also sorry for the long rant but this has been on my mind for a while.
