Something similar happened with Perfect Illusion, it's much more appreciated now than it was during Joanne pre-era/era. The only reason why people hate it so much is because it was leaked a month before its release date, which caused people to overplay it. The same has happened to me with Perfect Illusion, Applause and even Born This Way. Her lead singles have always had such a pressure because of Bad Romance but once I hear the album in full with the songs as part of it, it clicks.
