Ava Max album HEAVEN & HELL out on September 18th + Tracklist

Well I don't get the meltdowns about her including some of her songs already released as singles.

She's a debut artist, she doesn't have the budget to get a huge amount of demos / songs recorded. Gaga included a lot of her old songs on her debut album, recorded before The Fame was even a real thing.

Shocked she put all the official singles on it after all. If Heaven and Take You To Hell may be just interludes, that means there might be as little as 7 new tracks to hear when all is said and done. Those lesser songs like So Am I, Torn and Salt are just going to bring the overall quality down. Who's Laughing Now? is ok but yet another ok track, she needs a big banger like SBP or K&Q again if she wants to stand a chance of making a big smash. It's a shame as I had so many high hopes for her at the beginning.

They probably won't be interludes as they have a bunch of songwriters credited to them already. That means we're getting 9 new songs (10 if you count WLN) and her greatest bops from before. I think it was a good choice to include those songs on her debut album as they are the most recognizable ones she's put out for now. It's gonna bring some weight to the album

There are 8 new songs, which is a decent number. If it helps you sleep at night you can pretend the other singles arent there and you still have an album with a decent length

I knew they’d end up reversing a bit and adding in her hit songs lol

oh well, still a number of new ones and it makes sense to have those on the album even if they are a year or two... or more old
