LateToCult 41,835
Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden on Tuesday was photographed holding handwritten notes with Sen. Kamala Harris' name at the top along with a set of talking points about her, fueling fresh speculation about the California Democrat's standing as a vice presidential running mate. The notes, which were photographed at a speech in Wilmington, Delaware, feature Harris' name followed by five talking points: "Do not hold grudges," "Campaigned with me & Jill," "Talented," "Great help to campaign" and "Great respect for her." The Biden campaign declined to comment to CNN on Tuesday night. The prominence of Harris on Biden's notes follows a Politico story in which former Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut, a member of Biden's team vetting potential vice presidential picks, is reported as being critical of her. His criticism stems from Harris' attack on the former vice president in a June 2019 Democratic primary debate. She criticized Biden for having touted his "civil" working relationship with segregationist senators, and launched a scathing and personal attack on his opposition to federally mandated school desegregation busing. full story: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/07/28/politics/biden-kamala-harris-notes/index.html

RAMROD 117,010
Lots of things to consider, which is good. Need to find someone that can be a good team together. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ ᶠʳᵒⁿᵗ ᵗᵒʷᵃʳᵈ ᵉⁿᵉᵐʸ (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
Kevbev 498
Ugh. I really hope Harris hasn't been chosen. Her criminal justice record is bad. Do Biden and his team really want a "cop" on the ticket during these tumultuous times? Also, she comes across as such a fake politician.
Guest vivre sa vie
Kamala is even worse than him. Neoliberal af! He needs a VP who will attract votes from the Left!
Spyro 8,438
Biden/Harris sounds like a badass ticket on a bumper sticker! She's not my first, second, or third choice tho... Spyro the Dragon
Othon 34,299
All I will say is, if the person who: -spent her entire career pointlessly locking up Black men for marijuana possession charges by choice, -refused to prosecute predatory banks in her state, -pushed for a policy that criminalized the parents of truant children, -presided over and supported an atrocious immigration deportation scheme that harmed countless young Mexican immigrants, -refused to prosecute dirty cops, -only to disingenuously rebrand as a "progressive prosecutor" really is chosen to be VP, it will serve as a perfect encapsulation of how morally bankrupt the Democratic Party is and how completely out of touch they are with the current moment. A self-described "top cop" with an awful relationship to the Black community in her state for VP at a time when we're out in the streets protesting police brutality. It's so insane and insulting that it's almost comical.

He's got the core democratic base locked up and undecided/3rd party voters are lower in polling than 4 years ago. Harris isn't perfect, but she's safe. Yes, safe can be bad (read: Tim Kaine), but this election is different and a '20 Kaine VP can beat a '16 Kaine VP. Harris wasn't my first, second, nor third choice, but she'll demolish Pence in the debate (tho I wish deer heartedly it was Warren going against Pence...) I suppose one big draw back I find with Harris being chosen, is that the GOP probably has their homework down with Kamala since she's the most obvious choice to the VP. I'm all over the place how to feel about this tbh... Spyro the Dragon

Morphine Prince 109,653
Honestly though, someone with her controversial record should not be VP, especially in this climate where people are literally in the streets protesting police brutality and the police and the ****ed up justice system. Harris Walz 2024 1,451
I'm here for it. She quit the race early to be his VP. Makes sense.
Othon 34,299
Just now, Democrats 2020 said: I'm here for it. She quit the race early to be his VP. Makes sense. She quit the race as early as she did because she didn't connect with voters, she ran out of money and couldn't pay her staff anymore.
