To be honest, I'm kinda worried for her future in terms of chart success. She's not a sales monster anymore and her streaming power is not strong at all. Chromatica is the 2nd biggest debut on Spotify this year, just behind folklore, but still, it tanked and its streams started to go down ever since. Another thing that worries me is the fact that +50% of the album streams come from ROM and SC. 

I don't wanna be a pessimistic guy but Gaga needs to start changing her strategies in order to stay relevant in this new music climate. She needs to release music more often, maybe stand alone singles like The Cure, do collabs with streaming titans (Dua, Ariana, Billie, Taylor, Bad Bunny, etc) or participate on remixes. Sadly Gaga's power and relevancy for today's audiences is not that strong and we have to admit it. Gaga is right in the middle and she should start being more active in music, IMO.

You are bit tragic, but you are not wrong though. At some point, her team does realize that Gaga needs the streaming power for success today, that's why we got collabs with Ari and BP. We can expect her to collab with more mainstream artists in the future

I think a lot about this too but I don't think Gaga cares that much about it, so I don't care either. She has proven everybody wrong so many times so I trust her vision for her career. She doesn't like to play safe and by that time we should've understood that.

It might also be because of the pandemic, the lockdowns and cancelled tours. I dont imagine artists like Lana, Gaga or Taylor just sitting at home and doing nothing, but being creative, making art and the best out of this situation.

Yeah, but how many? Do you honestly believe that the percentage of Gaga's sales derived from her merch is as high as Taylor's? I highly doubt it.

You worry about things you shouldn't worry about. All this anxiety just so you can compare Gaga's #s to others. She's fine, Chromatica is successful enough for her, me, Interscope, and well, everyone except for you!

I'm a chartster so don't expect me to not worry about it. For an album that's "safe" pop with big collabs it was too front loaded and is not really showing stabillty. I understand Gaga is really promo sensitive tho, so once she starts promoting things should start picking up.
