Just Another Day

I think it’s my favorite song off of Joanne, it’s such a chill and organic sounding song

When she played a snippet of it before announcing it

And when she performed it at NRJ (the pre-chorus sounds so great)

Dive bar performance

I used to like this song but now I'm just tired of it. Still a good album closer!

I used to overplay it so it got boring but it’s been a few years :messga:

The Dive Bar version is so f*cking great with that saxo solo at the end. I wish they would've included that on the album version.

There're two Gaga songs that give me positive vibes: Eh Eh and Just Another Day. (Probably, Fashion of His Love, too.)

I would like to hear more songs like these!

A diamond! The third song she wrote by herself!

Speechless, Yoü And I, Just Another Day.

Unpopular opinion:

“Just Another Day” destroys “Diamond Heart” and company, should have been a track on the main album and would have been a great single rather than “Perfect Illusion”

A fantastic song!

I used to think it was just an "enjoyable" song, but over time I've come to appreciate it more and more. It's a highlight in her more simple and subtle style of songwriting, that shows less an emphasis on the lyrical content (which is still fine, nothing complex, very cute) and more on the melody (which I think is outstanding).

I agree with @KEVIN STEVE that it definitely has the quality to be deserving of a standard-tracklist inclusion (hell, I'd say the same about Grigio Girls, too). That said, I would have trouble placing it, as it is an excellent closer, but so is Angel Down. Two very different ways to close out an album well. I think it would work well just before or after Hey Girl, imo.

That said, for the Howard Stern snippet, NRJ performance, and even some bits on her IG profile, she performs it in C as opposed to its album key of A, and I'm not too fond of it. I mean, she still sounds great, but the song really shines in a lower register.

Glad she performed the Dive Bar piece of it in A! What a fun way to end a show.
