But some of you are right, singles released after an album is out don’t usually do well anymore. It is what it is I guess. I don’t know why the label wouldn’t do more to market it? I think it SHOULD be on radios and playlists...... The only promo for it I’ve seen is that there’s a new remix out for it on streaming services (which is okay, it’s not terrible - it’s very piano-house). And the music video, which, I’ll admit...... is cute but an animated video is kind of a turn-off for me. Most of us aren’t 5. Obviously, we’re in a pandemic so it’s better than nothing. I just wish we could’ve seen what an actual live-action video would look like. I’d rather have a video on a green screen shot in her house. The One Kiss video was such a mess with the green screens (although she looks amazing) but at least the song has a proper video. I mean, imagine the visual effects that could’ve been done for a song literally called HALLUCINATE! dOnT sAd ReAcT mE 2 bE sHaDy i WiLL RePoRt U!!1! BMH is still doing it's thing around Spotify and she just released the J Balvin\Bad Bunny collab which will eat up any chance of success Hallucinate still had.
