People come, people go, wars are waged, the winners take things from those who lost; taking lands and adopting some customs and with time, they develop their own style..etc. So America itself is made of different cultures but so are many others especially western civilizations and it’s only most noticeable in America because of how recent it is. Food is global now, only dumb nationalist people cares about their country's food (which is depends on the area, you can find the same type of food in cities from 2 different countries that touch each other in the border, just with different name).
