So guess who worked on "gain in function" research on bat coronaviruses with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and is spearheading the NIH (The US National Institutes of Health)? Dr.Fauci... maybe he isn't directly responsible for the outbreak, but he is complicit if the virus escaped the lab (which has happened in the past before).

For those who don't know what gain-in-function research is, its literally manipulation of the genome of the virus... to see if a certain virus can evolve into a more infective/dangerous strain. It is known corona virusses don't have perfect match rates with the receptors of our lung cells. I read the most infective cousin to the sars-cov-2 virus, has a 80% infection rate. No other virus found in the family branch of bat corona virusses, has the same 100% infectivity rate as the the sars-cov-2 virus does.. it seems to be many generations removed from the closest relative virus that was found on a bat/pangolin.

I think im 50/50 on the matter. the chance this has leaked from a lab is likely, since the wetmarket and the Wuhan institute of Virology are so close together, and the fact how sneaky this virus is compared to other corona virusses, it can literally invade your body through 2 different receptors, cause trombosis, encapalitis, viral pneumonia, heart attack and reinfection can cause the symptoms to occur all over again. 

Should we 100% believe wat scientists/mainstream media medical experts have to say on the matter. No. It does not mean they are telling the truth that the virus came from a bat via a pangolin. All possibilities should still be open if patient zero hasn't been proven and if the real origin of the virus hasn't been identified. Use your common sense, cross reference news articles, research papers, and then people should draw their conclusions

Actually it's important to find the cause and patient zero, because it will makes things much more clear for researchers and how to tackle this pandemic. The fact China is so dodgy about the origins of the virus, and doesn't allow an independent international investigation on the matter, make things very fishy.

Seriously, stop reading dailymail if you want detailed information about Covid-19. Their headlines right now are safari park baboons armed with knives and again something about Meghan Markle

I’d like to think that most Americans are decent and aware of what’s happening right now. The fact that Clinton won the popular vote in 2016, and that Biden is placing well ahead in polls, gives me comfort in knowing that most people do not want wannabe fascists governing our country. We still have a very long way to go, though, and I think this virus has ironically shed light on the blind spots.

I am very worried about the direction in which the world is headed (that's not a startling view to hold these days). There is craziness everywhere. I could drone on at length, but here's what I thihk needs to happen.

1. Biden has to win.

2. The US then has to somehow deal with the fallout from the crazies. Trump is unlikely to help with that.

3. The world has to do something about social media. It will destroy us if we are not careful. Anyone with their head screwed on understands that the world is always in shades of grey rather than black and white, but there are now several million (and growing) people all over the world who believe in the most absurd conspiracy theories due to the proliferation of bullshit videos on youtube etc. We have to find a way to stop these videos being made or at least to stop them going public.

I see this a lot, and I get it. But, keep in mind that, state for state, Hilary's lead over Trump was very slight and the margin of error was low. And she did end up winning the popular vote, so the polls were not egregiously wrong. The numbers here look way more promising.

But, of course, polls don't make a president. As I keep saying, this may come down to the people who stayed home in 2016 showing up this time. The people who folded their arms and said "It's corporate vs. corporate, what should I vote or even care?"

And we now see why elections matter, even when the candidates are not to our liking. This year, we all need to vote as if our ballot could break the tie and decide our state.
