Jose P 23,341
I appreciate what it meant for Gaga’s career and proved her versatility, but I just think it’s pretty bland. Like, the sound and concept were pretty inconsistent and overall feels blah. Like it’s just there. Half of it is amazing, half of it is forgettable. It’s not even that intimate besides like 4 songs. The end is kinda messy tho agreed lmao
buzzkill 5,152
But again, she put such an effort to make Joanne happen... and our girl chromatica having this treatment... really makes me question where she stands with the album

Focz 1,765
I love the album is my third / fourth favorite Gaga album, I feel like it is very underrated, and I also feel like the fans don't like it basically because they can't move their gay asses with some songs I understand that you don't like the style, but don't say it's bad, because it's not, you just don't like it and it's fine If I had to say something negative, I think it is a bit short and that some songs (2 or 3) could be improved, but that's all, otherwise I love It 💜

I think the way she carried the era leaves a weird taste when I listen to the album too
2School4Cool 6,434
I think the reason some fans disliked it is because they had grown accustomed to the dance-pop that Gaga got her start with. Joanne is still my favorite Gaga album, though, I love everything about it, it’s an absolute masterpiece. See The Best In Everyone
RudraCNG 14,974
I love the lyrics and the melodies. It' just that "raw" voice she used in that album. I can't stand it. That's why I don't listen to the album anymore. Every time I want to play a Joanne song I go to live versions.

Galactastica 314
46 minutes ago, Faysalaaa said: The album just doesnt have enough good songs. I also wish Gaga did not play it safe and was more experimental. That's interesting to me, because I think a more generally chill, country peppered album is totally NOT safe or expected from Lady Gaga, and that is exactly why it sticks out from every other album. It is experimental for her in that sense, it also makes it incredibly unique. I think that most people who are Gaga fans like the dance and electro feel that every other album has besides Joanne. That's the genre they like her and signed up for. That's cool. It also means that many of those fans aren't into music like what much of Joanne offers. Personally, it's the most consistently listen-able album and it's really a matter of what you like. I love it ad think some of her best songs for her entire lifetime are on it, but I also know I like music like that. It was a pleasant surprise for me that she released something so different from her regular discography and I hope she does it again one day.
