And no, I am not talking about the Haus Labs version, I am talking about the album version. The reason I say this is because this song is very memorable and will stand out in a good way on the radio. There is nothing on the radio that sounds like Babylon. But at the same time the song is very danceable, fun, and catchy. It also has many memorable phrases like “serve it ancient city style” and “We can party like its B.C” that will stick with the GP. Babylon is familiar as it has similarities to Madonna, Bowie, 90s house, And Gospel, but it’s also fresh and kind of experimental. And lets not forget Gaga’s spoken verses which are very hard to get out of your head. Overall I think this song is the perfect combination of what Gaga represents to the GP. I don't necessarily think it's the best choice but it's the choice I want. I really hate how she picks my favorites as one of the last singles (Marry the Night, I'm looking at you) and they get done the absolute worst.
