What I said had nothing to do with the shallow notion that commercial performance equates to quality. I just used its lack of commercial success as one possible factor that other people, like me, could sense the empty sentiments behind the pop therefore could not connect with it. Never do I claim such superficial notions as a be all end all. And also, objectively the album lacks quality. Subjectively you like it anyway. Two different things. So then where do you draw the line between objective and subjective? Many people like Warrior and many people dislike High Road...
