Yeah for me, the most of my knowledge of commerical performance comes from what ends up being discussed here on the forum

I enjoy reading the charts thread because it kind of reminds me of tracking stocks and such, but I never really cared all the much about how well music performs. It's the least relevant thing in my eyes in regards to quality of music.

Majority of the stuff I listen to, that has moved me and touched me, have never and will never touch the charts.

I said it before and I'll say it again...

Commerical Performance does not determine a songs worth.

What I said had nothing to do with the shallow notion that commercial performance equates to quality. I just used its lack of commercial success as one possible factor that other people, like me, could sense the empty sentiments behind the pop therefore could not connect with it. Never do I claim such superficial notions as a be all end all.

And also, objectively the album lacks quality. Subjectively you like it anyway. Two different things.

Run Devil Run is in my opinion her most underrated bop, mainly because so many people don't even know it exists :vegas:

So then where do you draw the line between objective and subjective?

Many people like Warrior and many people dislike High Road...

There's no factual evidence here to support that Warrior is a BAD, poorly made album.
