NewUsername 11,405
I interpret it more as an ASIB song, written from Ally's perspective.

If that makes sense I have always heard: "I don't want to be my FAME no more, I don't want to play this game." I feel like Love Me Right was the original album opener before the Chomatica Interludes were recorded. I listen to it as a first track the rest of the album it puts everything else into perspective
Genuine Guy 09 13,941
Plastic Doll is about the fans I noticed that straight away, and love me right is her saying if she doesn't do something we like (HAC Music, make up brand, soundtrack) will we stick by her. Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight
Doot 2
Several songs on the album seem to be quite blatantly a message to her fans, yet everyone seems to conveniently ignore that.

Love Me Right is definitely about her being banned from Gagadaily And don't forget the "Little monsters torture me !" from Replay....

When I looked it up online they had it as either "friend" or "afraid" but they could be wrong If she does say "fame" then it definitely puts it in a different perspective the meow in zombieboy

To me, it's a song where she's asking if we would still love her if she quit, walked away, so 'fame' in that line would make it really interesting. I pictured the song's meaning as what if she decided to stop being what you perceive her to be and make you see her as human. Not that she's saying goodbye to us but revealing Stefani behind Lady Gaga.
