NFRatwell 23,290
Am I the only one who just found this out “For ASIB, Tucker and the pop star would write ideas at her home. While none of their collaborations during this time would make the soundtrack, one idea did stand out: “Stupid Love.” “I worked on that demo for a while but it was missing something I couldn’t quite put my finger on. When I played it for Max Martin, he had some fantastic ideas that really elevated it,” Tucker explains. When Gaga’s Joanne World Tour arrived in Kansas City, his hometown, in November 2017, he flew out to play her the new version of what would become Chromatica’s lead single. “I played it on her bluetooth speaker in her dressing room with my family and friends present. I would definitely consider that the moment Chromatica was started.”” https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/lady-gaga-chromatica-making-of-bloodpop-axwell-1007139/
Sepsami 17,781
I would like to hear it before Max Martin touched it 100% it would be without the overdone chipmunk vocals and it would be way better
S0436 10,215
Shame it didn’t make it onto the ASIB soundtrack and then we could’ve had Alice or something as the lead single for Chromatica
Enzo 37,977
There's a reason it's not in the movie 툭 까보면 어김없이 소리질러와

Anderson123 36,438
Well it'd have been better than Why Did You Do That but fans would've been mad that Shallow was promoted instead of it, mark my words. If Stupid Love wasn't the lead single y'all would be saying it's the single that got away. That's actually quite interesting since Joanne, A Star Is Born and Chromatica were so close together that I guess some of the ideas of the previous records influenced the sound of the next one, it makes sense. GregJA 5,025
It’s clear from the leak back over a year ago that stupid love has gone through many lyrical changes, so the sound changing doesn’t surprise me - but could you imagine if SL had been on ASIB in the state it launched in I love the song but it would have been so bizarre but I’d be here for it Mr. No Award Winner 2020
Doot 2
Part of this...I don't personally like. I wish she'd have a concept first and then write for it. But that's just a preference.
Lord Temptation 11,209
I wonder if it was intended to be one of the “good” country/blues songs or “trash” pop songs?
NFRatwell 23,290
What’s weird is that SL really doesn’t fit the album sonically or conceptually especially not in the first act

Considering BloodPop makes pop music I think it’s safe to say it was meant to be a pop song
