Kim Kardashian speaks out

Shame on people for judging her. I can't stand the Kardashian/Jenner family, and for the life of me don't understand why they're famous. However, we have no idea what is going on behind closed doors. From his tweets, we can glean that she has been trying to get him help, and he appears to be refusing – maybe this is not the full picture though, since we aren't privy to that info. I already have stated this on other Kanye threads, but family members can only do so much. As Kim explains, unless the person is a minor, you cannot force them to seek treatment.  I know this from a friend's experience (and my friend is a therapist with a PhD in psychology who was unable to persuade her ex-husband to get the help he needed and so had to divorce him to protect herself and their kids).

First of all stop using exclamation points; you sound very pointed for no reason. Secondly, my issues? So now you’re an expert on my personal life and I’m projecting them onto who? I don’t see anyone else on here accusing me of projecting my issues onto them but please continue with that claim. Thirdly, I never once said his wife doesn’t know what’s happening; I simply pointed out that she looks like the caring wife all of a sudden but why speak out now when we all know he’s been struggling for years with his mental health. Fourth, again acting like medical expert here and accusing me of behaving as such. To the public eye, you cannot sit here and tell me that her now addressing it doesn’t look questionable. I’m sure from a basic moral human angle she cares, but given it’s the Kardashian family you know someone said we need damage control for Kim’s image. But again, I’m projecting my issues onto someone else and you’re right I don’t know what’s really going on. So let me ask, do you?

I don't know why she says the family can't do anything because he's not a minor when there are legal ways to get someone into a psychiatric treatment center. 

It happened with Britney and it happened with Amanda Bynes (who is also bipolar). 

Not saying I want Kanye (or anyone) to fall under a conservatorship like Britney, but Kanye seems like he's only a few short steps away from becoming a danger, and he needs help. There ARE ways to ensure he gets it. 

But oh Lord, if a conservatorship comes up, please don't let it be in the hands of the Kardashians.

Oh lord another one coming after me. Alright bring it; how am I being judgmental and ignorant? I have acknowledged Kanye is struggling and needs help. seriously people if you are ignorant on the subject get a book or look up for a youtube video before making such statements

lmao what? how are you not understanding that your assumptions on the intentions of his own wife’s statement isn’t being judgemental? the complete lack of self awareness.  it has nothing to do with being a “medical expert” (what even) or being “pointed”. you’re completely missing the point yikes

I feel there are plenty of things you can judge her for (like I said, I am not a fan of any member of that family), but in this situation, there's a lot we don't know, and I don't think it's fair to expect her to be responsible for her husband's mental health. 

I realize there are ways to force someone to be committed, and maybe she was trying to do that, hence Kanye's "Get Out" tweet and other tweets lashing out at her and Kris.

I'm not saying she's well-intentioned. I have no idea. But I know from my friend's own experience that it's not fair to place all the blame on the spouse/family.

I’m entitled to my opinion just like you have yours. I’m not gonna continue dragging this out with you or @Ricardo. Arguing doesn‘t do anyone any good and yes maybe a bit judgmental, but I’m not the Kardashians’ biggest fan so you’ll have to excuse me if “something doesn’t make sense” about her approach all of a sudden. I’m leaving this subject alone as to avoid offending or pissing anyone else off.

I'm not talking about Kanye. I know he needs help. I'm talking about Kim who spoke out right after he mentioned her in a tweet. Before that she didn't say anything about it. She only talked cuz people were now attacking her on social media.
