Yeah, the Rain On Me video is pretty cool

If the VMAs don't cheat to give the award for someone else, it is impossible for Rain On Me not to win. Because Gaga fans + Ari fans.

BUT the VMAs never really nominate quality, they nominate sh*tty videos like Old Town Road, which is a mediocre video at best

My predictions for Video of the Year nominees:

Rain on Me (Gags, Ariana) - I think possibly the favourite as it ticks all the boxes (great video, VMA-friendly artists, successful song)

Blinding Lights (Weeknd) - Biggest song of the year plus the video project with the album was good

Black Parade (Beyonce) - Unsure of the eligibility period but if Black is King counts this could well include a Black Parade video which would be a real contender. If not, Post Malone's Circles will take this slot.

Life is Good (Drake, Future) - I'd be amazed if this doesn't get nominated. Big artists, fairly big song and a fun video.

The Man (Taylor Swift) - Although she won last year, I reckon this video has what it takes to be nominated. Something different, it stood out and it's by a major artist.

Watermelon Sugar (Harry Styles) - Harry's had a massive year and 1D were VMA favourites. Would be huge for him as a solo artist.

Possibles: Physical (Dua Lipa), The Box (Roddy Rich), Say So (Doja Cat), Everything I wanted (Billie Eilish), Circles (Post Malone), Highest in the room (Travis Scott), How do you like that (Blackpink).

I think Rain on Me is the favourite so will be interesting if Gaga performs...could we finally see a ROM performance? I'm sure MTV would be begging her for it....
