Why Gaga Hasn't Promoted Her Album?

I thought it was because it would seem Insensitive with everything going on in the world but literally every other music artist is promoting it’s business as usual for them so frankly I have no idea

Maybe she’s holding all the heavy promo until things open up more so she can do more live interviews/performances?

Or maybe she forgot Chromatica, that seems more plausible

The world isn't what it used to be. Maybe she doesn't feel as if pre-recorded  performances and interviews is the main priority right now, during a pandemic and in times where the BLM movement has grown huge for obvious reasons. She's probably focusing on the issues we're facing as human beings of the world and I think that it's the right thing to do.

That would be cringey and try-hard, so I'm glad she isn't. 

EDIT: meaningful performances aren't cringey but using movements and activism for promo is bad and will come across as cringe

I think it’s a complex storm of wanting to honor her original vision for promoting the album (which I imagine was very calculated and conceptual,) honoring the chaos happening in the world and listening to her gut as far as when is the right time to proceed (while considering there may very well be yet another major global crisis in the next few months/deciding if it’s worth it to pause the album promo yet again,) and not giving in to pressure of doing half assed (compared to her original vision) pre-recorded performances just because other artists are doing so.

I think it’s a matter of legacy and knowing with touring not starting for another year, it doesn’t sit right with her to just wing it right now. I think if she can, she should stick to her original plan, even that means waiting months to see it, because years from now that’s what will be remembered, not some Zoom performances.
