Is Gaga still interested in pop music?

I'm inclined to believe the same, even tho it sounds a bit against her principles. Not that there is anything wrong with that, if that's the reason she released a new pop album. She said she wanted to reclaime the dancefloor.

I don't think she cares much for it, didn't she say that bloodpop was the one who made her record chromatica, like she didn't want to make pop music but he kept encouraging her to do it or else there would have been no album lol.  I think she is just too in her head about things and has forgotten why she loved pop in the first place

Some of ya'll are so sensitive towards this. I never said Chromatica was a bad album (it's my favorite from her tbh), my question is if she's sill interested in pop  anymore since she's been silent about the album, and she seems to care more about the haus lab/jazz music/movie projects(?). ROM video is good but it''s no where near her pre-ARTPOP videos, don't forget she was the Queen of music video and iconic performances back then, the 2008-2013 fans were waiting for PopGa, she was one of the reasons we loved POP music. We've got C2C, Joanne, ASIB, and the GP's here for her now, so isn't it time for her go back to her root in 2008-2013 (if she still cares)?

It think that was the original plan, yes. Though atm she is to bussy staying silent about her music, out of respect for BLM and the corona situation, I think. Also because of that situation it's hard to perform. Tbf I would allready be happy with an instagram livestream of her singing. Like why not? But we don't know anything about what is going on with her right now so.

she isn't into chromatica as much she was into her previous albums but I think she isn't into music and releasing albums in general. It looks like she proved what she wanted to prove and that's ok. This plus corona pandemic situation + BLM situation

Let’s see, Chromatica was supposed to be released in April, a day away from a huge surprise Coachella set, somewhere in between this we would’ve received multiple remixes, we’ve heard about atleast one other music video having been finished so that probably would’ve been released too, Gaga has multiple performances rumored to have been pre recorded as well, she was teasing Chromatica TV (a whole website designed for fan chat about the album) and right now she’d be about to start a world tour also. But yes, let’s ignore all that to push the idea that Gaga probably doesn’t care about pop music anymore

She released an album and the videos for SL and ROM are amazing.

This. Last week I was revisiting some of her old performances, like 2009 Glastonbury performance and also some BTWB videos on youtube and I just don't see that fire in her anymore. From the Zane Lowe interview I got the impression that even though she likes Chromatica, she doesn't live and breathe it like she used to with the other albums.
