Actually, it is open to everyone. 

I know about private streets, I lived on one. Pedestrians that don’t live on that “private street” can walk, run, ride bikes through the neighborhood. “Private Street” just means one end of the street has a gate, the street that faces a busy street such as Kingshighway or Grand St. 

There is a huge difference between a gated community and a private street. The other entrance to a private street is open to everyone. Cars can still go into this neighborhood from the back entrance. (Which is just a common street) You are NOT trespassing if you walk through or ride your bike through this neighborhood. You are NOT trespassing if you drive your car onto this street.

I don’t need to read up, I know this street. I know of dozens of streets like this in St. Louis. I lived on one. They are open to everyone.

Facts are facts, regardless if you’re a democrat or a republican. Unfortunately, the charges will be thrown out guaranteed. Hopefully this sparks some more change towards making guns illegal but if thousands of school shootings haven’t changed it I doubt this will 😞

My story has stayed the same.

Private streets are not gated communities. Pedestrians are NOT trespassing.

Brandishing a loaded weapon is a felony, which is what this couple is charged with. 

Those are the facts.
