I made perfect Illusion a Toronto radio hit for nearly a week 

 

Basically back then Torontos largest Top 40 Station (99.9 Virgin Radio) was not yet part of Iheart Radio and individual requests were still easy to make

 

PI was flopping miserably all over Canada including Toronto and even Kiss 92.5 (Toronto's 2nd largest Top 40 Station) that usually stans Gaga so hard was paying it dust with only 1 play per day sometimes 2 if we were lucky

 

I collected tones of emails from my massive list of unopened emails and started spamming requests and asked GGD members to request too. I also spread the requests out throught the day to not be suspicious and I wrote in different styles in each request to sound like a different person. In some I sounded like a fan and in others I tried to sound like a casual listener saying stuff like "Gaga's new song Illusion I forgot the full name"  but I never used the same line twice or they'd know

 

I actually managed to get 6-8 spins a day of a song that had almost 0 support on Toronto's largest top 40 station that covers an area of nearly 9 Million people 

 

That lasted about a week then suddenly out of nowhere the song got pulled from rotation completely. I feel like they somehow figured out the public actually hated the song and the requests were spams

That's still an achievement given as in 12 years I've yet to convert anyone into a fan personally

 

But making a flop song a radio hit for a week on Canada's largest top 40 station, im proud of that one 

 

I guess I can't know with 100% certainty it was really me but the sudden pick up in spins did happen shortly after I started the spam requests and also usually Kiss 92.5 supports Gaga the most among big Toronto stations but this time 99.9 it was virgin radio the one I spammed requests with

 

So I'm like 97% sure it was me if it wasn't then that's one freaky coincidence/aberation for a song totally flopping to get sudden spin increases from a station that usually only supports Gaga music if it gets popular in general first
