If a song is widely liked, it doesn't make sense to call it overrated simply because it doesn't have the same impact on one person. Clearly, many people love and adore it, so it isn't overrated. Underrated would only make sense if a lot of people have not listened to a song, if it didn't have enough exposure. Replay is a song that everyone here seems to be obsessed with. They clearly like the song. I enjoy the song, but it's not an album highlight for me. But I wouldn't say it's overrated because clearly many people love it. Surely you aren't the only one with this experience. The song literally captivated people and created more Little Monsters. I would not define that as being over-rated. With the GP maybe, but with fans this song is sooooo overrated, people treat like it was one of the biggest masterpieces of Gaga, when it's not even top 5 on it's own album... However i would say sonically it is a lot better than Marry The Night or You and I. I think Bloody Mary The Edge of Glory Sinners Prayer Shallow ARUTW and 911 in my opinion are all better songs. Her catalog is just full of great songs so it's really hard to determine which is the best. Music video wise I would also agree. Basically all her videos from telephone -G.U.Y. are superior. And deservingly so. The song was so FRESH to pop landscape when it came out and was more monstrous in size and power than anything from The Fame. It's iconic, and in fact underrated for only reaching #2 when it should be among her list of #1s on bbh100. Marry the night and you and I are incredible songs too.
