Doot 2
I went to Wisconsin this past weekend and stayed indoors, as apparently the people think Corona isn't an actual thing. Everything is open. Barely anyone was wearing a mask.

Morphine Prince 109,649
Most of the cases in California, around 60% are in the Los Angeles County. So it's not exactly AS BAD as it is in other states in terms of it being prevalent everywhere.
LaLuna 12,732
Well, it's for the best, because apparently many Americans are just too stubborn to do what's right. If they keep having to go back into shutdown maybe they'll finally learn.

Contrary to popular belief, at least in the US the first wave was never gotten under control in the first place yet states reopened anyway. We never made it out of the first wave and are still very much in the middle of it here in the US. The fall will likely bring the second wave and I don't even want to know what that will entail considering the degree of devastation from this first wave. How far do cases have to drop and for how long must they hold to by definition be out of a wave? This seems a bit arbitrary and seems like ppl can have different standards of what they consider a wave. I haven't heard an official definition from the medical community But in any case I wasn't being fully serious in my comment anyway. Im well aware cases never dropped a tone to begin with

Im well aware cases never dropped a tone to begin with I mean you said it yourself, the wave doesn't stop if the cases never drop to begin with. New cases have been constantly going up since March in California every day and the cases started growing exponentially starting June 22 (approx. 20 days after re-opening). The curve in California never really flattened to begin with, and I think the situation in California is a good example of how HUGE the first wave of infections could have been if shutdowns & wearing masks weren't enforced by authorities. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/california-coronavirus-cases.html
