Anyone who has really listened to Chromatica actually know she's most probably not okay. I mean that album is 90% about her mental struggles and her depression

That said, I'm quite sad she's not trying to heal through music like usual. That always helped her to get better

Maybe she is, maybe while we don't even know it she's making a whole quarantine album with just her and a couple of producers working from their homes

Um Chromatica as a whole has the potential to be a milestone in her entire artistic catalog for many reasons, and she's worked on it for like 3 years. So I really hope she doesn't just give up on it and jumps onto another project like that.

Jokes aside there has to be something really wrong for her to abruptly cancel just about everything and remain radio silent. She didn’t even post about Haus Labs’ anniversary yesterday (she shared a post from the Haus Labs channel to her IG and FB stories but that was about it). It’s almost like she has enough energy to acknowledge things here and there, but she’s probably in a dark place right now. She shouldn’t punish herself for the BS the world is dealing with, but at the same it’s understandable if her thoughts are racing and she’s just not in a good state of mind at the moment. I hope she just continues to hang in there and knows that we all love her

If there's something wrong I'm wondering if it's even her sharing things on her social media accounts at the moment or if it's her team.

I hate to draw comparisons because these are two different scenarios, but I don’t believe her team is posting on her channels the way many people believe Britney’s team does for her (we all know the controversy there and her behavior suggests she really doesn’t control anything). I think Gaga may just be in a slump right now because she wishes she could do more to heal the world, but she’s only one woman and I’m sure plenty of people have been impacted in a positive way by her actions. Either that or she’s secretly working on a big project for Chromatica and plans on dropping the surprise when we least expect it.

happened last week, but the song has peaked on radio in the US.

Yesterday the two big stations completely downgraded ROM - Z100 only spun it 6 times and KIIS 4 times. It is a sign that radio are slowly dropping it. Aside from that ROM is out the top 80 on AM and scratching the top 40 on Spotify US

so yeah, if nothing changes in the next two weeks, looks like this song is done for there. Which is why i was stoked for this radio promo. Ah well, nevermind!

Why would you even consider that? For the past albums she’s been doing 4 year hiatus, and suddebly she will release an album recorded in quarentine? It doesnt even sound like her and interscope would never allowed it too, since she just release an album that probably cost tons of money and is payin dust to it.

That's possible. But how can somebody feel so responsible about something that NO human being on earth can fix, regardless of how much you help, to the point of ending up feeling depressed? Like, it's honestly mindblowing and very sad. She's been showing signs of trying to take responsability for things soo out of her league for years now. And if that's the case now, then I feel very sorry for her and hope she gets better asap. She doesn't deserve to feel that much pressure

That’s why I giggle on the side when people gush over artists like Katy Perry and compare the two over who’s doing more promo for their current album eras. Like not to be rude but Katy had at most maybe 5-6 posts about BLM and the tragedy over Breonna Taylor. Gaga literally handed her IG over to about 12-15 different groups advocating for BLM and Black Trans Awareness as well, on a weekly basis and sometimes twice within a week and this has been ongoing since the first week of June.

Now I know I’m guilty of talking s*** and making jokes about the lack of promo, but when push comes to shove I know who’s more involved in philanthropical endeavors on any given day. And to be fair, Ariana hasn’t spoken out in favor of ROM either and everyday has been posting about primaries and different outlets fighting against racial injustice. They’ve read the room for weeks and know what’s more important right now.
