We were just worried about her" It's one thing to be worried about a missing child and another thing to assume they are being sex trafficked by a furniture company in a crazy conspiracy theory. Using her photos as evidence that Wayfair is selling children. Even if you believe the conspiracy theory to be true, attaching real human beings to it and assuming that is what is happening to them is just so wrong and would be very traumatizing i think. yeah, imagine if people on the streets recognize her and stop her to ask or call cops or CPS to "save" her. must be exhausting. people should use some critical thinking and verify before posting. Musicisfreedom 5,837
Qanon people and other conspiracy theorists are actually so frustrating. They doubt everything unless its some random anonymous person on the internet telling them the most far-fetched explanation. Whether its about covid, celebrities, politics... It's just honestly irritating to even think about lol. These people are just walking around talking about the "great awakening" meanwhile not even being being smart enough to google a couple easily researched facts. It's just honestly irritating to even think about lol. These people are just walking around talking about the "great awakening" meanwhile not even being being smart enough to google a couple easily researched facts. These people usually have some deep-rooted emotional issues. I have an aunt that is going the conspiracy route as of late, joining a 'Virus madness' protest and proudly showing her facebook friends that she's reading conspiracy newspapers. No reason will convince her, I know that person. The underlying reason is that she just wants to be with her father (my grandpa), who's been in an elderly care facility, isolated from all social contact for 3+ months, and quite literally dying from loneliness. No facts will. The only way to get rid of conspiracy theories is to either wait a long time (who believes Kesha is an illuminati goddess nowadays?) and see the old conspiracy theory replaced by a new, hopefully less dangerous one, or to remove all information on conspiracy theories in the first place (active censure, e.g. by Youtube+Facebook+Google) so these vulnerably people don't get sucked into this crazy stuff. It's a coping mechanism, like alcohol. Can't convince an alcoholic to stop drinking by pointing at the facts about health harm and such.
