The spy worked for several years in the Federal Press Office of Germany, however they had no access to any sensitive data. Representatives of the minstry for inner affairs declined to reveal anything further, due to an official intelligence investigation already being opened about it already. According to the federal government of Germany, it is known that Egyptian intelligence illegally operates and collects data of exiled Egyptian political enemies living in Germany.
