911 is just a promo single but there's no EXCUSES for amateurism of that kind.

If it's really just a "promo single" then they still need to promote the song. Anyway the credits for the song has been changed to 911, I remember that they had the same issue with Stupid Love aswell at first untill they change it. I don't know how this whole credit thing works when you release a song along with an interlude, that's why I like to think before judging something straight away

I think we all have to agree that there's no way to sugarcoat this blunder. Such unprofessionalism is not warranted from people handling the biggest female artist. This shouldn't have happened in the first place. It did, and that's unfortunate.

Let's just be glad that this wasn't the official songs chart. Now that would have been a huge disaster and the regrets would be everlasting

But 911 didn't enter the official chart exactly because of this mistake :toofunny: You still don't understand? 911 video streams went to Chromatica III, but Chromatica III is ineligible to pick up audio streams because it has less than 30 seconds, so it wasn't able to enter the chart either, but if 911 had received its video/audio streams correctly + digital sales, it would have entered the official chart for sure. :toofunny:

They messed up everything :deadbanana:

Oh, okay. Now I get it.

Well, sh*t.

But Stupid Love video streams went to the right song, different for what happened with 911 :toofunny:

So what's the point? :toofunny:

US radio is a lost cause probably forever, Shallow was one of the biggest songs in the history of music and they basically refused to play it. Didn’t it peak at less than 80M AI? That’s basically nothing when songs get like 130M AI  nowadays. Pop radio has pretty much stopped supporting her

Shallow peaked at 92M AI! It was a radio hit even in USA! Not the radio smash that it deserved to be but it peaked in top 10 on Radio Chart overall and was in the year end top 20 radio chart too! Definitely a radio hit!

I wasn't talking about it not making the chart because of that, I just said that Stupid Love also had that kind of issue on its video at first when it was released, idk why it happens and why they don't credit the song straight away. From what I've heard, Billboard checks the data before posting their positions, idk why these other charts don't do the same.

Yeah but only because they were forced to play it after the Oscars performance and win and everyone couldn't stop talking about it. :yennefer:

The situation is that in the case of Stupid Love, they fixed its video credit error immediately, on the day of the release, different from what happened with 911, bcuz they only fixed it A WEEK LATER and this totally messed up the debut of the song. If you don't know about it, don't get in the middle. :nails:

You still didn't answer my questions, but I know that with Stupid Love it was much more quick but still why that happens? Why Billboard checks the data and others don't...Anyway It is what it is

Yep, a BIG FAT MESS.

Also, only this week Billboard missed several positions of several songs on Hot 100 and then fixed it, nothing is perfect. :nails:

Not that big of a mess, if the song had chances to be inside top 10 for example then yeah, it would have been a big mess

I said and I will say it again:

That's no excuse, a debut in the lower regions of the charts is better than not debuting anywhere for amateurism of her team/label. :nails:

Now let's not make a drama out of something that's not that important. Amateur or not, she made it big with this label, they were the ones who gave her a chance at first. They are not perfect but at least they give her freedom and have moments when they do things right.
