Monsters holding on to the "TC was such a hit" thing is really funny. Remember when people said they'd rather have a MV for that over ASIB? To be fair, radio was the one format where Shallow didn't shine so bright, so I'm certain The Cure is more recognizable to the GP 

 

Also, yeah, shame on me for believing big smashes should be included on a "Greatest Hits" album. Let's put every Gaga song that's Platinum on there, 'cause they're all winners in our hearts 

Bit awkward for G.U.Y. being literally the only single not to make the cut. Maybe we should include songs that are Gold, too. Is G.U.Y. gold yet? If not, maybe Silver? We don't want to upset the 3 megafans that still stan it by implying it's anything less that a smash hit, a cultural reset and a career highlight, on the same level of iconicness as Poker Face and Bad Romance combined.

You sound so petty G.U.Y is reaching Platinum soon, they just never certified it. Perfect Illusion isn't Platinum certified either. You might know that those certs are not automatic in the US. Also if all Gaga's Platinum hits were included on Greatest Hits, it would have around 21 songs which would be quite normal for such an album. P!nk has one with 19 songs on it and she has way less Platinum certified singles in the US than Gaga. Also I wouldn't be surprised if they included some of her less known singles/songs to give them a boost. So your point is pretty much invalid...

Exactly.. the weeknd just released a greatest hit album which included few not-so-popular singles and random album tracks.

Gaga can definitely include scheisse, aura, venus, A-yo ie her favourite songs into it.
