For example Hip-Hop, RnB, Jazz, Blues etc are dominatly influenced and created by non white people ....Often Black people, culture... Therefore Black musicans tend to do these types of music cause they grew up listening to it and influenced by it .... That is basically my argument ... I just said it to end the endless discussion over Taylor Swift ....And to try to explain why she and adele won album of the Year twice and others not (Not saying their respected album weren´t great!) Structurell Racism is a huge thing in the entertainment and record industry.....Now I will stop saying anything .. Also in my country there are basially clubs who dived there dancefloor in Black music, Latin music, Country, Rock, Trance dance and so on .....Not saying that it is good or anything but thats just kinda a thing here (Germany) ...Have a nice day people Cataleya Deters
Leoj305 2,786
911 is smart because it comes with chromatica 2. That’s two songs increasing streams potentially, which would elevate the album over 5 M(optimistic) streams WW on Spotify daily.

The Fame/The Fame Monster obviously remains on top, but what is Gaga's 2nd most successful and iconic era? No way; but, I think they’re fundamentally incomparable. ASIB was attached to an Oscar nominated film, giving it a level of promo that a pop album could never get. In terms of being iconic, everything was tied again to the film and Oscars, rather than the album or music. Finally, ASIB had 1 WW single with minimal performances. The *era* was iconic as it was amazing to watch Gaga be part of a successful film / make rounds as an Oscar nom’d actress. And, it enabled her to achieve a re-peak in fame via Shallow that’ll always be intertwined with her music. For the standards of a pop album, Born This Way established Gaga’s legendary status, as it was her 1st release following TF/M debut, and proved she was a global superstar capable of more than dance hooks. BTW combined music, fashion, and performance into an era that hit the GP in a way pop seldom ever does with a culturally significant message. The sales and debut positions from spring 2011 show how much hype there was, and with better planning, she’d have had 2 #1s, 2 top 10s; BTW (#1), Judas (#10; 3 days tracking), Hair (#12; promo single), EOG (#3; promo single) all peaked on debut. Releasing Judas with a full week before EOG as the 3rd official single would’ve had: 1-3-(12)-1-6-39 at worst. Add in massive sales, myriad iconic performances of each single, and you have a year that’s incomparable musically to the promo of Shallow / ASIB. I agree with you, and feel like like with the passing of time, people tend to underrate the success or cultural impact of an album/era. BTW for its message alone stomps on Shallow/ASIB imo...
