ASIB and Chromatica's launch just proved us Gaga can be huge in streaming with a decent promo exposure but that she can't count on longevity if she disappears.

I 100% agree with this.

Also I don't agree with blaming everything on BLM/Corona.

Well, it’s because of corona that we can’t have a “normal” schedule that was meant for the rollout of the album. Coachella performance, probably more mvs, performances in important spots like GMA, Carpool Karaoke and other important programs that have millions of people watching.

I think the lack of promo is not because they can’t do anything to promote the album, I think Gaga doesn’t feel like promoting it. That’s the vibe I’m getting but I could be completely wrong.

Some of you should just be glad that Gaga can pull out #1 hits and impressive streaming numbers in 2020 without doing anything. The majority of the people that you try to compare with her has had streaming hits in the past years and beside that a lot of them are chasing to have those streaming hits with a lot of their songs sounding like the standard GP-friendly hit songs (this helped a lot of them to gain the streaming power that they have). Gaga even though she was never running after having streaming hits in the past years, she still had a lot of success with her own sound which is even more impressive if you ask me, she did it her way. It's hard for Gaga to really compete with those artists that was chasing after those streaming hits but if you take everything in consideration, she's actually doing really really good.

Call outs ain’t gonna save this song because it’s pretty forgettable :rip:

This. Different users make fun of or support Katy, for example, but the simple fact is that she's working HARD right now and unable to turn numbers. We should be grateful. No one could've predicted the situation, that it would last this long, or expect that it would part of a catalyst for a civil rights movement.

She's doing amazing. We may not get everything how we want it, or when we want it, or the promo support we wish she would give sometimes. But even when she's silent or distant, she always comes back with quality art, regardless of genre. The situation sucks and maybe it feels like she should do more, but it IS temporary. The tour is coming. There will be time for promo.

Her gentle and oftentimes fragile heart is what makes her art so powerful, so let's be kind to her and each other.
