the album is mostly EDM

that song being in the middle makes the album jarring :ohwell:

We can say the same for every Gaga album though?

The Fame - Starstruck

TFM - Speechless

BTW - Bad Kids

Joanne - Dancin’ In Circles

Chromatica - 911

Not saying these songs are bad but they do shift away from the core genre of their albums.

Venus sounds like a YouTube parody space song yet people praise it. :bear:

Venus is a song that is intended to be campy and tongue in cheek. Jewels n Drugs is just a cringefest :bear:

Because it's a song where Gaga sings 20% of it and still hers sounds the worst part of the song despite three random rappers no gay cares about

Everything could be everything (it could mean anything)

ARTPOP was a bit loud and overproduced when you compare it to Chromatica. Chromatica is more or a generic but mature pop Gaga side.

DJWS productions are mostly amazing yet loud in some songs, but Bloody Mary and DWUW instrumentals STOMP on everything on Chromatica tbh. (no shade) Also Applause instrumental is very unique and amazing while a bit loud too. :music:

For me it’s mainly because she’s barely on it. She did not need three rappers. Keep Twista on it, his verse and the switch up in the instrumental is good, ditch the other two

Honestly though, at least she had the right idea to make it a hip hop influenced song from the start if she wanted to feature rappers, instead of shoehorning them in pop songs like Katy and the others back then

I agree Bloody Mary and DWUW were fantastic. Applause was loud but easy to digust, can’t say the same for half of his other work. That includes Madeon.

Okay, there were some weird choices made with the tracklisting but I assume Brooklyn Nights and others were meant for the Act II :smh:

I really hope that the Act II will be released for the 10th anniversary of ARTPOP :selena: I want a studio version for Princess Die...

Madeon is French, he is obviously good (like DJ Snake) :triggered:

If Gaga dropped JnD as a single or even made a promo single. She once again would of been the pioneer to start the trend since 2013 was the turning point for hip hop becoming the dominate and popular genre.

To call them 3 random rappers says enough.

We can say the same about Sour Candy. :bear:

Swinfest version was OK because it flowed great.  But the album version lacked the same energy and the transitions between each singer sounded really bad... plus the lyrics are kinda tacky. lol
