yes and

Anyway, Sour Candy is obviously the next single and probably then we'll get a new single song from a super deluxe edition.

Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No

Are y'all voting for Free Woman so you can b*tch about Gaga being bad at releasing singles later? I mean, what in the name of self-sabotage is this :wtfga:

You know that would happen too :toofunny:

Mr S

Free Woman by far. It may be a bit generic but it has the best chance at catching on radio.

Sorry but Alice gives me Artp0p vibes with the "rapping". The GP will NOT be here for that trust me.

911 is the best of both world. It's edgy and inventive, but can appeal to the GP.

My super basic friends think free woman is a bop and that Alice is creepy and weird which makes me think that free woman would be a bigger hit

You said it's on bottom streamed because it's literally on the bottom of tracklist!

Hmmm.. No

When exposed to the GP it was in the bottom 3 streamed tracks for about 3 weeks

These days it gets more streams, but that's cause its a fan favorite

Trust me, it would tank. No one is here for another scalping, not after SL :selena:

Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight

Candy Gaga

Free Woman sound a lot like Rain On Me production wise don't think the GP will be here for another ROM , Alice on the other hand has a unique sound that can be a hit or miss.

I think Enigma would be a great choice for a late-summer/fall top 20 hit but she ain't recorded a video for it so :deadbanana:

REALITY

I think with Gaga, it's always difficult to decide which song can be a hit. When you go to some of her more "radio-friendly" songs, they usually do well, but they never become big, massive hits. I think to many people, they just expect something different from Gaga.

For example, I thought SL was a great lead single choice. It's very radio-friendly, which I thought would catch a lot of people's attention, and while it did debut at #5 (which is fantastic!), it didn't really go anywhere. Sure, I think COVID halted her plans and because of that, she couldn't promote it as much, but the song did still release before lockdown and everything, and it was still doing only relatively okay.

FW is the more "radio-friendly" song, so you'd think that that may be the bigger hit, but I think Gaga's only proven that all she needs is a good song—regardless of if it's "radio-friendly" or not. Just Dance wasn't radio friendly, same with Poker Face, Bad Romance, Alejandro, TEOG, BTW, Applause, Shallow, etc. I'd love for FW to be a promo single, but in all honesty, I really do think Babylon should get single treatment. It's my favorite song off the album, so I do have a bit of a bias, but I really do think it has amazing potential. It's unique enough to be like, "Oh yeah, that's Gaga," but I also think it's catchy enough for the GP to like it. In every reaction video to the album I've seen people love it.

There's something dated and Kygo/2015-sounding about FW. I can't see it doing too well, but they seem to be setting it up as next single, as I've seen it on various well-followed playlists on several streaming services.

Imo, what hurt Stupid Love is that it's a good pop song, but not really bold or "Gaga" in any way. Locals liked it, but it didn't stick with them. Free Woman is reminiscent of that in that it's a good song that will do well on radio, but I don't see it sticking with the GP. Alice is the bolder, albeit riskier, choice and makes more of an impact on the listener.

Alice because I like it better :huntyga:

And because it's a little more different so it would stand out more from the crowd. They need to put out something more bold so people aren't like "oh I guess Gaga got boring"
