I've been listening some today to what you've been posting lately from them, and I really am getting into it.  I love being exposed to new bands - that's what I'm here about!! :)  I'm also picking up some s-x appeal from them and that adds to the interest.  :excited:

"how many special people change"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R04sLCmtz3E

I did not like this song when it was a hit record and all over MTV and radio. I only liked it later whenI was living the lyrics and my heart hurt.

I did always like their song, Morning Glory.

In honor of the great David Bowie tonight, the amazing song and closing track on The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust, where he killed off his alter-ego, Ziggy Stardust.

I like Wonderwall too but this song sounds a lot better for reminiscing.

Making compromises and accepting ourselves for who we are, no more no less, is never for the faint of heart.  There comes a point in our lives when we realize that perhaps we didn't live up to the expectations we had for ourselves as youngsters, but we still accept and love who we are anyway, or should.  Although we (I), still dream.... :nick:

I had a friend who I thought for sure was my soul mate... he turned out to be homos-xual.  I always kind of suspected, but I wished for something else anyway.  I'm a real life Grace from Will & Grace, and he took me on "dates" to formal affairs so he wouldn't have to explain why he was alone if he didn't, because he didn't want to bring a man to certain events and I happily went along with it because he was best friend and I'd do anything for him, even if I was slightly being used.  This song reminds me of that time in my life for some reason.

Yes, that is perfect. Life is maddening or can be, at least. Love that song too. Edited by SISTER

Your story reminds me of that Jennifer Aniston movie, Object of My Affection, where she was in love with her best friend, but he was gay.

It's his loss. I think you're perfect and your next mate will find that out as well.

That was very nice of you, but I didn't mean to give the impression this was a recent event.  He's cool and we're fine and I've long gotten over it.  :)  Ha, that was sweet though.

My soul mate is gone long ago and although we don't talk or see each other anymore, she will always be in my heart. Some things remain with you as life goes on. happy1.gif
