Zazekina 785
Well, I was a The Beatles' stan when I was 12 until I was 16, cuz then I found Hole and Marilyn Manson and I fell in love with their style. Besides them, I usually listen to The Cure, Heart, Guns 'n' roses, U2, Evanescence, David Bowie's "Blackstar", Korn's "Issues" and the MTV unplugged. https://soundcloud.com/zazekina/otra-vez

And yes, mostly through my dad, the radio and watching Supernatural made me return to them since as a kid I paid little attention to them--I memorized all the songs and I'll sing to them but I wouldn't play it on my own will until a few years back. Strangely enough, these classics make me nostalgic for a day and age I never even experienced first hand. It's just weirdly powerful. Same here, and even tho I don't listen to them all the time, they are some of my favorites Life has a hopeful undertone |-/

Such amazing music. I also listened to Blackstar (just the title track). It's good. But I never had enough time to go through the album. Korn I never had the chance to really get into, maybe in the future. MTV Unplugged Nirvana however Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

Pamelaisley 933
I've got an 80s playlist with over 400 songs, a 70s playlist with over 200 songs and a 60s playlist with over 170 songs. I'm really proud of that! My dad told me to listen to Blondie because "she was like the Lady Gaga of my years." Other than Blondie, I like Billy Idol, Billy Joel, David Bowie, The Doors, Adam (and the) Ant(s), Culture Club, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Joy Division, The Clash, Jimi Hendrix, Blue Öyster Cult, The Cars, The Police, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Queen. I've started listening to ABBA recently too. It depends on how I'm feeling because somedays I might wanna listen to punk rock and seem like a badass, dance to synth pop or chill with some 70s soft rock. I remember one time, my mom and I were driving home from the beach and Fleetwood Mac came on and it was just really nice. My mom and I sat outside almost every night for a few hours last summer listening to my playlists. She thinks its so cool how I listen to stuff she did when she was my age and she loves that we can talk about this music. Her fiancé is a really big Grateful Dead fan, or a "Deadhead" and whenever we're in the car listening to the radio, he'll ask me "who's this?" Sometimes I dont know the answers but I usually get them right. When I was getting my first tattoo, my brother came with me and asked the artist to put on 80s music (my personal favorite) and he did. I knew every song and artist and my brother said that I was so cool and I just felt really good and happy in that moment. the moon lights her way 🌖🦇

Puddin 1,176
I stan Metallica because they changed my life. I would not be the person I am today if it wasn't for them. I was about 8 or 9 and I heard Enter Sandman and it was all downhill from there haha. I met Dave Mustaine (ex Metallica) one time at Guitar Center and I was mostly astounded by him being in Metallica years ago rather than being the frontman for Megadeth. I was super into thrash metal a couple years back, now a days I'm more calm about it but I do have a soft spot for ballads like November Rain (which I heard live last year when GnR came to my city. It was so beautiful, Axl on the piano) Edited April 28, 2017 by Puddin

Whenever "Take It Easy" comes on the radio, I feel very happy and I just wanna forget about my troubles! I wasn't sure if Bob was putting his own touch on it or if he was just getting the words wrong, but I liked it! the moon lights her way 🌖🦇
