I love AIC.  It's so sad we'll never hear any new stuff from him - I believe he died in 2002.  He had a great voice for the genre, certainly.  I love so many of their songs.  Just fantastic lyrics.  I mean, wow.

This song is outta here.

This song is everything I love about alternative rock music from the 90s!  Yeah, sadly he died of a d--g overdose on April 5, 2002.  It's super strange that he died on the same day as my beloved Kurt Cobain.

Nirvana is another band I absolutely adore.  Always have, always will stan for them.  Listening to them makes me feel a combination of nostalgia as well as euphoria.  Kurt Cobain will forever be in my heart!

It's pretty weird that Nirvana and Lady Gaga are the only artists that I have been obsessed with throughout my life and the only ones for whom I stan.  I say strange because Nirvana is alternative/grunge and Gaga is pure pop with some rock influences.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Hi everyone Alice in Chains slays any other alternative band other than maybe RHCP

Greetings! :adam:

i LOVE Alice In Chains! They are one of my top bands with Metallica, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, and Pantera. However coming out of the grunge and the following post grunge movement, there are other bands of the era I love.

They include other than Alice In Chains:

Grunge:

Nirvana

Soundgarden

Temple of the Dog

Pearl Jam

Stone Temple Pilots

Toadies ( right from my area at Fort Worth, TX!)

and Courtney Love's Hole gets an honorable mention

Post grunge:

10 Years

Adeltas Way

Alien Ant Farm

Alter Bridge

Army of Anyone

Audioslave

Black Stone Cherry

Breaking Benjamin

Burn Halo

Bush

Candlebox

Chevelle

Cold

Collective Soul

Daughtry

Days of the New

Default

Dishwalla

Drowning Pool

Earshot

Evans Blue

Filter

Finger Eleven

Flyleaf

Foo Fighters

Fuel

Godsmack

Green Day

Halestorm

Hinder

Hoobastank

Jerry Cantrell (check out his own albums with what he does best, rock that grinds!)

Operator

Our Lady Peace

Pop Evil

the Pretty Reckless

Puddle of Mudd

Rev Theory

Saving Abel

Seether

Creed (their first albums were noteworthy)

Seisonic

Shinedown

Sick Puppies

Silverchair

Smile Empty Soul

Soil

Sponge

Staind

Stone Sour

Tantric

Theory of a Deadman

Third Eye Blind

Three Days Grace

Trapt
