My favorite bands / artists of all-time switch back and forth between Rush, Jimi Hendrix, and Pink Floyd. Not only is Rush extremely musically talented, but their lyrics are unparalleled, such as in the song you posted above. My favorite bands / artists of all-time switch back and forth between Rush, Jimi Hendrix, and Pink Floyd. I love the lyrics in that song, as well. It's very thought provoking. I like Rush, but I've always gotten an overdose on Rush while hanging around with guys, so I don't play their music myself too often. Yes, LZ is high up on the list - very high. In fact, so many bands have something different to offer musically and lyrically it's nearly impossible to have a "favorite". They all do something different for me internally... depending on what mood I'm in or emotions I may be feeling. That is why I can never participate in Stan Wars - I appreciate too much differently to ever make a solid argument. This is one of my favorite songs of all-time. They lyrics and his voice, just cut my heart wide open for the taking.
