Miker 5,683
Ah, Miker. I was going to post that but then I neglected my Rush duties of spreading Rush love and admiration throughout the forum. It's a great song! You can post it on the other site and we can have double stereo........play both at the same time. . We all know you are the "Rush" aficionado. Mars..........or bust! Miker 5,683
Definitely! I think that was one of his last hits. The only one I remember after it was the Downeaster Alexa. I like this, too. http://youtu.be/ajn_s6cxS64 Mars..........or bust!

Ambrosia 3,775
Woke up with this song in my head. ;) Nah, nah, nah.... don't want it in my head never more. I didn't realize how goofy the video was though. Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates

Shadow 6,425
Can someone please recommend me a good rock album with good electric guitar hooks ? someting that sound like these songs: From the music you've shared, I know of a range of bands you might like. Then again, I'm not sure about your tastes, so if you give me more feed back from these selections, I can find bands more of the same flavor so to speak. First band, you should check out is Queensryche. They have a melodic sound that has emotion and good guitar hooks to keep listeners on edge without having to scream it out one bit. Depeche Mode, they may not be the guitar riff hook sort of band, but they capture those same emotions effortlessly and very professionally in my opinion: This may seem odd at first, but Van Halen with Sammy Hager went to mature places that may have been impossible if David Lee Roth remained in the band. Sammy helped the band grow in my opinion: Another band you may like is considered ancient these days, but one of my personal favorites, Asia: Also, Journey is a great band with decent hooks and great lyrics: Now, if these bands weren't what you had in mind, let me know. There's much more to choose from. 🖤“It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled” ― Mark Twain

Steve Perry on his own from Journey was great, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGZgzE-KaiY Ever heard of Jefferson Starship? You like Bryan Adams? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGoWtY_h4xo Hmm, I guess went more towards Bonnie Tyler than Bon Jovi... If you're looking for guitar riffs, I know of other bands you may like. 🖤“It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled” ― Mark Twain
