I don’t care for Beyoncé because I personally don’t think she’d be able to produce anything like this without the village she calls a team, but her recent visuals are top tier. It upsets me because Gaga used to be the fashion/visual queen and we just don’t get the same big budget videos anymore. Chromatica would have been incredible as a visual album. She might have had a contract with Disney to release the film now on Disney + when it was filmed as an exclusive to their streaming service. Disney might have wanted it a year after the fact Lion King came out not to distract and confuse the audience. She still has her deal with Netflix. Disney probably looped her into this project because they wanted a piece of the music action from her for Disney+ because they are hurting for new content at the moment. I need something different from her. She's a visual artist, but far from the best. However, it is executed perfectly and she has superb team (including a brilliant PR team) behind her "work".
