Coronavirus: 10 million of infections

I really hope we can get rid of this virus once and for all one day. I don't understand why is so hard for some people to wear the mask and keep distance when they go in closed areas at least. Since with this virus I went outside much less and when I go I take the mask and don't go around crowded areas at all. TBH I'm actually kinda worried that I may have it hard if I get this virus

I agree that people should stay at home and protect themselves, but not everyone can do that. I mean, I know a lot of people who simply can't stay at home and quarantine themselves, because they need to work and etc. And at least here in my country, our president is the worst example for the population (there's a lot of people who believe in everything he does). He doesn't wear masks, he don't give a sh*t about protecting himself and think that all of the policies and stuff are bullsh*t.

So, it's really hard to not have a big increase in the number of cases, and it's not right to blame the population (in my case, and in some other countries too) as if they were the guilty ones, because there are still people who don't have access to the information about protection. And the government does nothing to help.

In my city, stores are almost fully open, even though it's the city with the highest numbers on the state. And it increases everyday. It's so sad to think that our mayor does nothing to stop the pandemic situation. A lockdown here would be a good idea, but I don't think that it will ever happen. The government don't give a sh*t about the lives that are lost everyday. They can only think of the money they're losing because people can't go out to buy in their malls, stores and companies.
