The number of 'infections' could also be bigger. These are only the known cases. There is an estimation that says that about 28 M people had (or have) the virus in US only.

The attention span of people are so short. COVID-19 is still a threat, people. Be safe.

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

Ridiculous! I don’t understand why it’s so hard for people to stay home and wear a mask. :saladga:

Swine Flu in 2009 has had like 1.2 billion confirmed cases. Coronavirus is definitely more widespread

But there’s a lot of precautions and mandatory stay at home orders compared to h1n1, so I don’t think it’s gonna be as wide spread. We do have to be more vigilant though. People should stay at home when they can, and wear masks if in areas where you can’t distance greater than 6ft away from others.

"Fun" fact: I am a greek primary school teacher. Greek government has just voted an increase in the number of students per class by 25 starting from September + they are shutting down schools to save the cost of hiring teachers. Considering that an average class is about 25m² go figure what is bound to happen in the following months. Masks and gloves are optional.

And another "fun" fact: the cases of covid-19 are reported extremely low in Greece but guess what... Tests are practically non-existent. On top of that, borders are open for tourism with the exception of some high risk countries.

We are clearly on a suicide mission.

Yes. In Luxembourg we had like 1-5 daily infections per 3 000 - 7 000 tests for one month or more.

3 days ago 11 new infections

yesterday 22 new infections

today 44 infections

We just had an outbreak after months of controlled infections

And it's much much more contagious.

Also while there was no lockdown during swine flu, a vaccine was ready only a few months after the initial outbreak in Mexico.
