I'm not sure on the lore actually, but it's worth noting that 'gay propaganda' BECAME illegal in Russia, and relatively recently... Also they are attractive women, so... I'm not saying there's a double standard there, but... there absolutely is a double standard there... Also Russia is kinda weird in a sense that as much as homophobia is very pervasive there, a lot of their performers that challenge gender norms are kind of embraced, at least as long as they do it in a certain way, for instance Verka Serduchka is essentially a crossderesser but its played for laughs so its fine, and for a time the guy was extremely successful Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
