Blake McClain (a super cute producer :hor:) has reacted to ARTPOP! He's also reacted to Chromatica. Not sure if that reaction has been posted on this site, though.

In part 1 alone, he shows considerably more appreciation for the detail and weirdness of ARTPOP than most fans and critics did back in 2013.

Nope. He doesn't use synths actually. I think he stated that he's more into country? Or not?😗

He always says in his videos that he doesn’t really know or care for EDM that much.

Ohh I love his videos and of course I clicked right away the moment I saw it on YouTube. Makes me appreciate ARTPOP so much more, especially details about Sex Dreams and GUY I never really paid attention to. Sad to see that Do What U Want is no longer there, they should tell him to at least hear the Christina version.

I thought he wouldn’t like it because I don’t think he listens to EDM that much so it was nice to see him actually enjoying this.

His videos are really interesting. He always has some really fascinating facts about the process of producing a song, and what each little detail does to the final product. Considering that this place is full of little producers, I feel like some people could really use some of his knowledge :billie:

Has he reacted to any other Gaga album other than Chromatica and ARTPOP?

He gives great, in depth reactions. I also love that people who are going back and reacting to ARTPOP years later are enjoying it more than people did in 2013-14. It feels as though it’s no longer looked at as “Gaga’s least successful album,” it’s just looked at as an old Gaga album that fans love. It’s getting so much more recognition now and it makes me so happy!
