so is heavy metal lover chorus.  I like it rough.  poker face. starstruck. gypsy. like literally did u not see my OP? so many of her choruses are the same line repeated over and over w no variation.

and it does have variation, 911.

my BIGgest enemy is me, ever since day one, pop a 911 then pop another one

come on.  it has more words & variation than some of her other iconic chorus's.

Its still sung in a monotonous way...

Starstruck for example has Gaga singing, and then a lowered pitch voice singing the next part.

Gypsy... I dislike the song anyways.

911 could have been so much better if there were harmonies or like a double layering on vocals in the chorus

Well it's still the most overrated song on the album... actually i think that if it wasn't for the transition from Chromaica II it wouldn't receive that much hype :laughga:

So predictable. People get to a few weeks beyond release and needlessly and senselessly turn on the best song.

ot: best song in the album with the best/strongest chorus.

Yes, there is a chorus, and it's pretty clearly outlined by build-up, the "can't see me cry" pre-chorus, and the beat even drops out for a second.

But just when you expect the intensity to explode, it moderates back to the original dynamic. Some people have mentioned this as a criticism, but I'd say it's the entire point of the song.

The chorus is actually my favorite part of the song, it’s so moody and hypnotic:firega: reminds me of HML

you know if it just had a bigger instrumental people would be unanimously saying it was a chorus:billie:

Of course it has. I think a more confusing chorus song would be Free Woman for example because the chorus feels like it's a the end of the song and that the rest before ie : "I'm not nothing (...)" sounds like a buildup/ bridge before what should follow as a chorus. Basically most "beat drop" based songs can feel like they have no choruses sometimes, because the choruses are overshadowed by a beat drop (Replay does that also). It doesn't mean that these songs are bad btw.

Kind regards
