Mister G 10,512 Posted June 24, 2020 Share Posted June 24, 2020 So this is another prime example he’s trying to do the following: - Get everyone sick, or killed depending on how people’s immune systems respond to infection. - Downplay the severity of COVID-19 because his bumbling leadership mismanaged the entire crisis here, so now he wants to find ways to either reduce the numbers reported of increased cases or just pretend that it doesn’t even exist. Don’t be surprised if down the line he starts to claim that the 110,000+ deaths are fake news created by the “radical left” and “left media” to control people. - Falsely claim the virus went away so that this doesn’t crumble his chances at getting re-elected - Use this as a means to pin blame and guilt on others for the horrible mismanagement (derivative of option B) - E) All of the Above Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I even doubt Trump will go that low but time will tell. I hope that won't happen. It's obviously not about containment anymore. As long as people can still get tested if they start to feel seriously sick at a doctor or hospital. So the reason why I brought this up—and I have to find the clip—but a few weeks back Stephen Colbert on his show was saying Trump’s campaign manager had documents that either leaked or provided to someone who reported that was going to be part of the strategy. And honestly we can see signs of it; his last two rallies he insisted the virus was going away and that a vaccine would be available soon.
