PartySick

I've been wondering what MJ's shows would look like if he made setlists like Gaga does. How she keeps some of the hits, sometimes includes a deep cut or two, but usually uses most or all the songs from a new album :partysick:

I ("quickly") made a mock up of the tours :partysick:

The Off the Wall Tour (1980 - 1981)

Spoiler

The Change Introduction
 - Can You Feel It
 - Get It Together (Intro) / Get on the Floor
 - Lovely One
 - Rock With You
 - Music and Me
Hotel Interlude
 - This Place Hotel (Heartbreak Hotel)
 - I Want You Back / ABC / The Love You Save
 - I'll Be There
 - Ben
Chant Interlude
 - Workin' Day and Night
 - Girlfriend
 - She's Out of My Life
 - Never Can Say Goodbye
 - I Can't Help It
 - People Make the World Go 'Round
Band Groove Interlude
 - Burn This Disco Out
 - Off the Wall
 - Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
 - Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)

Album tracks not included: It's the Falling in Love
Notes:

 - Get It Together is more of a chant or reprised version of the song to build hype
 - This would be his first solo tour and would have dates in the United States and Canada

The Thriller Tour (1983 - 1985)

Spoiler

Sword in the Stone Introduction
 - Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'
 - Get on the Floor
 - Off the Wall

 - I Want You Back / The Love You Save
 - I'll Be There

 - The Lady in My Life
 - Billie Jean
Torture Interlude (Before Encore)
 - Thriller
 - We are the World (Final Concert Only)

Album tracks not included: N/A
Notes:

 - This is the last America only tour
 - Just like Gaga covered Bowie, I had Michael cover James Brown
 - Based loosely on the Victory Tour setlist which might as well been the Thriller tour :huntyga:

The Bad World Tour (1987 - 1989)

Spoiler

Visitors Introduction
 - Another Part of Me
 - Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'
 - Off the Wall
 - Human Nature
Hotel Interlude
 - Smooth Criminal
 - The Way You Make Me Feel
 - Liberian Girl
 - I Want You Back / The Love You Save
 - I'll Be There
 - Rock With You
The Chase Interlude
 - Speed Demon
 - Leave Me Alone
 - Streetwalker
 - I Just Can't Stop Loving You (ft. Siedah Garrett)
Werewolf Interlude
 - Thriller
 - Beat It
 - Dirty Diana
Bad Groove (Band Jam Interlude)
 - Billie Jean
Chant Introduction
 - Bad
 - Man in the Mirror

Album tracks not included: Just Good Friends
Notes:

 - No Sheryl Crow :huntyga:
 - This would be MJ's first tour with video interludes (Hotel, Werewolf, and Chase) representing a loose narrative of a visitor traveling through facets of human life
 - MJ would come up with several narrative ideas for the Bad Tour after completing Captain EO
 - I'm basically equating the Bad Tour to the Born This Way Ball here

The Dangerous World Tour (1992 - 1994)

Spoiler

Brace Yourself Introduction
 - Jam
 - Can't Let Her Get Away
 - In the Closet
 - Human Nature
Hotel Interlude
 - Smooth Criminal
 - I Just Can't Stop Loving You (ft. Siedah Garrett)
 - Rock With You
Ghouls and Creeps Interlude

 - Black or White
Someone Put Your Hand Out Interlude
 - Will You Be There
 - Heal the World

Album tracks not included: Why You Wanna Trip on Me, She Drives Me Wild, Keep the Faith, Gone Too Soon
Notes:

 - This is the first tour without a Jackson 5 or Jacksons song
 - If the BWT is the BTWB then this is the artRAVE. Wall to wall JAMS.
 - Heal the World should have closed the DWT, idc idc

The HIStory World Tour (1996 - 1997)

Spoiler

The Great Gates of Kiev Introduction
 - Scream / The Drill / They Don't Care About Us / Why You Wanna Trip on Me
 - Jam
 - Stranger in Moscow
Childhood Interlude
 - Smooth Criminal
Ed Sullivan Interlude
 - I Want You Back / The Love You Save / I'll Be There
 - Rock With You / Off the Wall / Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
 - Remember the Time
 - You Are Not Alone
Ghosts Interlude
 - Thriller
 - Is It Scary / 2 Bad
 - Dangerous
 - Blood on the Dance Floor
World Order Video
 - Money
 - Tabloid Junkie / This Time Around / D.S.
 - Morphine
The Gloved One Video Interlude
 - Billie Jean
Video Introduction
 - Black or White
 - Earth Song
 - Heal the World
Curtain Call (TDCAU Instrumental)
 - HIStory

Album tracks not included: Come Together, Childhood, Little Susie, Smile
Notes:

 - This would be the first MJ tour where he performed new new stuff as there are three tracks from Blood on the Dance Floor
 - Lots of throwbacks without feeling stale
 - MORPHINE
 - Beat It is no longer considered essential
- Billie Jean, being the most iconic song in his history, gets an "act" all to itself complete with a video of the sequins attaching to the jacket (in the best 1990s CGI and special effects) like shooting stars pulled in by gravity. The socks, armband, pants stripe, and glove all light up. The HIStory Tour's version of Billie Jean will override the Motown 25 version as THE most iconic one.

The Invincible World Tour (2002 - 2004)

Spoiler

Cyborg Interlude
 - 2000 Watts / Unbreakable
 - The Drill / They Don't Care About Us
 - Invincible
 - Butterflies
Heist Interlude (ft. Chris Tucker)
 - Smooth Criminal
 - You Rock My World
 - One More Chance / Don't Walk Away
 - Heaven Can Wait
Ghosts Video
 - Thriller / Threatened
 - Privacy
 - Whatever Happens
 - You Are Not Alone
 - Billie Jean
Black Panther Video
 - Dangerous
 - Black or White
Neverland Video Interlude
 - The Lost Children
 - Earth Song / We've Had Enough (orchestral excerpt of Shout's bridge included)
9/11 Victims Tribute Video
 - What More Can I Give
 - Heal the World
 - Cry

Album tracks not included: Heartbreaker, Break of Dawn, Speechless, You Are My Life
Notes:

 - Definitely the most difficult one to put together and I'm not entirely in love with it. There's just so much music and a lot of Invincible's tracks don't mesh well with a setlist, I fear:messga:
 -
One More Chance / Don't Walk Away is meant to be structured like IJCSLY / SOOML
 - In this universe, MJ was in total control and We've Had Enough was released
 - The tour wasn't cancelled after 9/11 but the attacks still happened. Rather than cancel, MJ pledged to donate all the money to the Heal the World foundation which helped to fund recovery and rebuilding efforts as well as helping to rehabilitate the survivors and emergency workers
 - There is zero chance the Heist film isn't goofy as hell and it'd probably be my favorite thing ever made

Eventually I'd like to make a narrative version for every other non-Bad tour to have a story line. But a gay has not the time or brain for it at the moment :huntyga:
