I wouldn't say the other songs are anything vocally demanding. I'd say she has used her voice like she did on Chromatica before.. it's not a totally new vocal style / sound from her to me. She mixes chest and head voice very often in the album which is for sure demanding (especially for a voice like Gaga's who rarely uses her head voice). The belts are sang with such an effort that it will be hard to top night after night. And don't let me start on the low notes cause she never really explored her lower range like this. Just my opinion. 42 minutes ago, monster said: Literally tho. I don't hear miss germanotta popping whistle notes like miss carey.. leave. now. its time for bed As a singer myself this is so ignorant? This album IS vocally demanding, Gaga uses a very wide spectrum of her range, using different techniques. Just because she can't hit a whistle note easily doesn't mean this album is not vocally demanding, IT IS. That can't be up for debate and it's not even an opinion. Most people on this threads know very little about what actually goes into creating different sounds, tones, and effects with the human voice and Gaga is a sly technical virtuoso. She makes it sound easy, but even as a singer, trying to mirror the effects she creates makes you realize how good she is. She makes it sound easy, which means she’s doing her job right. MOT 3,196
I look forward to Gaga's next live performance, and I hope that she, and her voice, are in good shape. And no whistling please, Gaga (if you must call your dog, please wait till after the show). Just singing please.

I was at the last two Vegas shows and was specifically listening for it and she sounded way better than all the videos (including any I took myself those nights) There was also the sinus infection she had

It wouldn’t really have an effect on anything, much less her voice. Stop weight shaming and acting like she gained 100 pounds or something It was a genuine question. I have never shamed somebody because of their weight, and I NEVER will!
Jack3257 770
I was her in a over her of 19 and she sounded AMAZING and said she had a SINUS INFECTION during Million Reasons (which caused her to cancel her next show)!

I was at Enigma on December 28 and J&P on NYE, and her vocals sounded amazing in person. No strain at all. She/Her/Hers
Defmix100 6,450
I know there were some dates where she sounded off but when I saw her in October her vocals were so great, she didn't hit everything but it was a really great night vocally

Not all of us are singers / vocal experts. I don’t know as much as you re: singing, to my ears personally her vocal in Chromatica doesn’t seem more demanding than anything on BTW / Joanne. I never mentioned whistle notes for the record.
