Sour Candy Collab

I think this will go down as one of Gaga's more interesting collaborations...

But how much interaction do you think Gaga has had with Blackpink, and how do you think the collaboration came about?

In contrast, it is more publicly clear on how close she's grown to Ari, and we all know she possesses a deep, close personal connection with Elton.

I don't see her discussing or mentioning much about forming a connection with Blackpink, unless anyone can find otherwise?
What are your thoughts?

Note: In no way do I think there is any right or wrong way to form or deliver collaborations, I just thought it was an interesting thing to discuss, given I get the impression Gaga typically takes good care in selecting who she works with and on what.....

I think she just videocalled the girls and asked them to be in the song, they said "yes, of course ma'am", they got Teddy Park to write the Korean verses and then headed into the studio and recorded them vocals, sent the song to Gags and she approved it and called it a day :hor:

I remember her saying in an interview that she found it really sweet when the girls came up with their Korean lyrics. I don't remember much more, tho :selena:

She scrapped her Cher collab because it was one of those "I'll email my verse" kind of things and she likes to actually make the song with the person she's collabing with.

I can't imagine it was one of those "phone it in" collabs (but that'd further justify the fact that it's my least favorite Gaga song :billie:). They probably just didn't hang out like Gaga usually does with people she works with.

I think it was because she didn't like how they edited her vocals tho

Well you can remove them but you're left with like 30 seconds of song

They're not even the reason I don't like the song though. Even if it was just Gaga singing all of it it'd still be at the bottom of the album for me :bradley:

I'm just glad we get to tap into the Blinks' power when it's single time :gayhat:

Xtina wasn’t that interesting to me. Because since TFM I been wanted them to collab. The ones I named were more shocking.

Yet you put Kid Cudi which isn't an actual collab

And also Wale (?
