If you don't like the instrumental you probably don't like the song, surely? :selena:

Ok I get what you mean

Not if you only listen to Acapella versions :huntyga:

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

NOPE. sometimes song is 10/10 but instrumental is 5/10. that's why often demo versions are better than final versions

Then....

I guess Enigma and Babylon, I think I'd like them more with a different production

Also 1000 Doves production is very ordinary for such a nice song

1000 Doves is beautiful lyrically and vocally. And I think the production cheapens it.

It's like putting spray cheese on a ribeye steak.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

911 is good, it sounds nice.

But... she just sounds too robotic. I have no qualms with her speaking like that during a song, but when it's almost the entire song sis I- :enigma: The chorus is kinda boring too ngl :billie:

edit: ah, it appears i've mixed up production with her voice :derpga: but even then the production is a bit meh :selena:

I don't actually dislike any of these, if I had one critique on the production of the ENTIRE Chromatica album is Plastic Doll's intro, like after crying to 911 turned all the way up I don't want to hear metal dishes grinding around all over my ear, no thank you :poot:

I love "Free Woman," but the production sounds like a royalty free YouTube jingle that beauty gurus use in their tutorials :messga: any remix of it will probably be better than the official :vegas:

I'd say Enigma because of the production during the chorus, but I'm still 1001% bopping to it

1000 Doves for sure. The piano version is one of the most gorgeous things I've ever heard but the original version cheapens the meaning and the drop feels totally forced. The drop is also the most basic thing ever and doesn't fit the ballad-like quality of the song.

The production of SFA sounds a bit dated... I do like the song though, but I feel like it could’ve been better

All of them are good, so none are bad lyrically or instrumentally, to me at least.
