Oh my word. I didn’t say you should look to stan twitter in terms of how YOU act, I’m saying that it would do you well to see how people act there, since it would explain almost all of my behavior. I was on stan twitter for a good few years, before I got banned from twitter for “bullying a homophobe” (I tried to get him banned from twitter for being a homophobe. Shocking, I know). My point is, stan twitter influenced my behavior. If you have a problem with it, that’s fine, but please at least acknowledge that the reason why I’m so snarky is because I entered an environment full of snarky people, and it kind of changed who I was.

Also, if you’re not open to differing opinions or snarky jokes, the internet probably isn’t the best place for you. Just saying, it’s full of MANY people that are snarky and don’t care if they offend you.

Best to follow Gaga's message and not be snarky and not offend people.  If you have been influenced by negativity on the internet, you can certainly allow yourself to be influenced by Gaga's positivity and kindness.  And by Dolly.  Read the lyrics to her new single:

The lyrics and production are wonderful.  With her lyrics Dolly certainly stays relevant to the times.  The song is beautiful, I love the choir, and Dolly's singing is as great as ever.   There's not many living legends, but Dolly certainly has earned that distinction.  :legend:

Totally agree with everything y’all said .

So what sort of album are you hoping comes next from Dolly? It’s confirmed that we are getting a new Christmas album from her (along w/ an associated Christmas movie) this Fall, but what sort of direction do you hope she takes for her next studio album?

I feel the same with Dolly as with Gaga.  I hope she just does whatever inspires her at the moment and goes the direction she wants.  That way we get the best music because it comes from unfettered inspiration and heart.

They were rumours that they would be a dance album I think inspired by “Faith” from last year. Would love a dance album by Dolly

I would also like to add that Dolly’s music is not for any specific age. I’m 19 and had so much fun going through all her albums:legend:It’s very massive but oh, so worth it!

What you want Lady Gaga🥂 What you want with Christina🥂

I am heavily offended by your comment, I am 23 years old and I love Dolly. Her music timeless and ageless

That’s interesting! I hadn’t heard of the rumours of a dance album in a bit. I remember reading this 2014 article on Rolling Stone which confirms she has at least 1 unreleased dance song.

“Four decades after writing “Coat of Many Colors,” Dolly Parton is showing some more love for the rainbow. On a conference call last week, the country icon spoke about an unreleased track called “Just a Wee Bit Gay,” which is reportedly part of a larger group of songs that are “very positive towards the gay community.

Even though it’s unlikely to happen, it’d be cool if she dropped it during pride month.

I loved the Grammys tribute to Dolly last year. It shows her relevance even among younger artists.

(Tried to share a video of it, but it appears to be gone from YouTube.)

Oh so now you’re the expert on who’s influence to follow? Sis, I made a joke. You’re acting like I did something illegal. We truly are going back to 2010-2011 levels of butthurt here. You don’t have to like everything people say, but that doesn’t mean that shouldn’t be allowed to say it. You don’t like me? Great! Then don’t talk to me.

Also, I’m really tired of hearing this “Gaga said be kind so if you’re a Gaga can you have to be kind!!!” thing. The ironic thing is that you guys are only kind when other people are kind. And that’s very easy to do. I believe what Gaga meant when she said “be kind” is that you should be kind to people even when they’re not being kind themselves. Generally, if you’re trying to get someone to stop doing something, going about it kindly works better than aggressively asking/telling them to stop. Or calling me an ignorant troll. Basically, you guys are kind until Gaga wants you to be. Well done.

Btw, I’m not saying this because I want you guys to be kind. I really could care less. I’m just saying that when your way of trying to get me to stop is to call me an ignorant troll, I’m not going to listen to you.

Ok! Can I tell you something that might sound completely radical? You’re allowed to be offended! And I’m allowed to know that I was joking and thus not take your being offended to heart. Now can we move on?

They were all just expressing their opinions. Not being bad... but if anyone appears to be “butthurt” (as you say) at this point, it’s you hun.

Perhaps take your own advice:
