pretty sure i posted an article from huffpo (? i think) about this before the album was released, but maybe not the actual letter. i can't find the post, tho!

I feel like they could have just as easily translated it to 'woman', but decided on 'lady' to get people talking :shrug: 

Still love this though. Fun that the lady who lived in Babylon was named Gaga

 

Edit: Admin corrected me and this was actually discovered and translated in 2001 :air:  like 5 years before Gaga was even Gaga

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Well it makes sense. Given the mythology of Babylon in religion and her trying to combine all different races and languages in a common unity. Kinda sounds like globalisation :bradley:

I guess in that context Sour Candy would make some sense due to the Korean lyrics. Wish we had more languages as well
